Secrets of the Vampire Dancer: The neighbors from Hell!

Dog AttackSecrets of the Vampire Dancer Saga

I am working on Part 5 of this series and wanted to look back on how this all began.

This is a story about my family, so some events in the story are true and some are not.

The critical year is 1973 when both parents, siblings, aunts and uncles were still alive.

My maternal grandmother passed before I was born, so created an imaginary version of her as Granny Ro’Zha

Her character is based in part on my real life Aunt Ethel. She used to baby sit us and we thought that she practiced voodoo.Dog attacks car

My brothers are based on characters from Angel: Wolf Ram and Hart.

The story about Dolf (wolf) sort of happened in real life. I had bad neighbors that let a large German shepherd run loose. Things got worse and worse, as their dog terrorized my family.

It began when my daughter and her friend were trying to leave my house to drive their kids. It was very icy that day, so my daughter started the car to warm it up. They were ready to leave; however, the dog came onto my porch and started barking. So they were afraid to leave. We ended up calling the police and they contacted the neighbors from hell.

The next incident was when I was trying to get to the bus to commute to work. The dog ran up behind me and started snarling. I always kept the Animal Control on speed dial. I was so mad because I did not want to miss my bus, so I started yelling and cursing loudly at the dog and their house. She finally came out and got him. That was a close call. Whew!

German ShepherdThe final showdown happened when we were returning home in my daughter’s car with her young children and baby. The dog ran to the car and started barking at us. We were too scared to get out, so I called my brother AKA Dolf. Thank goodness he lived right around the corner.

The dog tried to attack him, so he shot at him. The dog whimpered away and we were never terrorized again. That could have turned out horribly, when you think about how many people are attacked and killed by dogs each year.

Each year, more than 350,000 dog bite victims are seen in emergency rooms, and approximately 750,000 victims receive medical attention

2018 U.S. dog bite-related fatalities are currently being reviewed. In 2017, 39 dog attacks resulted in human death: 15 child victims and 24 adult victims.

That gives the fictional version of the story.

What to watch on TV? Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena Warrior Princess!

Herc and IolusWhat to watch on TV?  Hercules: The Legendary Journeys!

A family  member recently got into the Xena.  Joxer the Mighty is pretty funny, LOL!  I didn’t know the Ted Raimi wrote that!  Very talented family, what with Ted and Sam Raimi!

Back in the olden days of 1995 (just 18 years ago), I used to watch Hercules.  Back then, my favorite shows included ASS KICKING!  Oh the violence!  Just like when the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV show premiered in 1997, lots and lots of ass kicking.  This trend continued with other shows I like, such as Xena Warrior Princess and Angel.Xena Gabby

I’m not a violent person.  But I do like a lot of ACTION when I watch a TV show.  So I am drawn to shows like Hercules, Xena, Buffy and Angel.

I probably haven’t watched Hercules since the season finale in 1999, but I did continue to watch Xena until 2001.

Last night, I decided to set up a “wired” connection on my LG Smart BluRay player.  I had not used it via “wireless” before because of the bad connection.  So I finally hooked it directly to my Uverse set top box via ethernet cable and it The Gangworked like a charm.  Bye, bye bad connection!  Hello great connection!

So last night I had a Hercules Festival.  I started watching the Season 1 episodes until 4AM this morning.  I had forgotten something I did with Hercules and Xena until last night.

This is CORNY, but I choreograph dances to TV show opening credits.  I had forgotten the dance I made up for Hercules until last night.  It’s just a real goofy thing that I do, Herc Montagebeing a dancer, but I make up steps to opening credits on shows.

I remembered the silly dance I made up for Hercules and did it last night.  I have one for Xena, Buffy and many other shows.

God forbid anyone see them but me, unless I get drunk and show my family LOL.

Any-who!  If you have never seen Hercules or Xena, check them out on Netflix or Hulu and start with Season 1, Episode 1.

Xena1Both are great action shows with lots of ass kicking, sex, belly dance costumes, drama!  Great music score by Joseph LoDuca as well!!!!

You will be ENTERTAINED! Xena

Dance More with Feeling! The Vampire Dancer Saga tribute to Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Once moreMarch, 1990; Sunnihell, CA

“Hey everyone, get over here!” Echo said. She’d gotten her name from her loud voice and they could clearly hear her even though the music was playing loudly. “What is it?” Wiz said, coming over to see. “Oh, It’s just the Riverdance Irish Dancers. Their gimmick is old, but I guess they are still on point. They’re a lot better than I thought,” Will Potter chimed in. Suddenly Zanadu’s eyes went wide, “Am I the only one that’s noticing this?” Everyone peered Buffyharder at the performance, trying to see what they were doing that had caught her attention. Captain Reynolds Rapper was the last to make it over to see what was going on, but he noticed immediately. “Something’s not right here. Those guys are ghosts. It’s a pretty good disguise, but I can see through it. I bet the crowd doesn’t know a thing though,” he said making his way up to the others. “It’s worse than that. They’re casting a spell with their moves. Angela, can you make out what they are trying to do? I don’t have the spell knowledge that you do.”

AngelAngela whipped out special glasses so that she could focus more. “They trying to kill everyone and possess their souls!” she said. They scrambled for a bit trying to figure out how to stop them. “Wait, the spell needs approval. In order for it to completely work, they have to win the competition,” Angela told everyone. “That means we’ll have to dance better than we ever have. It’s a good thing we had that corned beef and cabbage earlier at the St. Patrick’s Day dinner; we’ll need the energy,” Buff Dude said. Firefly“Okay Team Mutant, no mistakes. Everyone dance with everything you have. When we’re done, I want them to say that it’s the best dance performance that ever happened in the 1990’s. I want future generations showing their kids our dancing on VHS so nobody ever forgets how amazing we are. Let’s do this!”
