“Choose carefully,” the Genie had said, “you may be surprised by what you get.” Well, she had chosen the magic carpet because it was a mode of transportation that didn’t require nearly the maintenance that other modes of transportation did. And really, who couldn’t use a magic carpet?
As it turned out, not even the Genie’s magic was strong enough to break the night walker’s curse. “There is only one person who can do that,” he told her. “You must seek Queen Nayture.”
Seeking out Queen Nayture was going to be a whole journey unto itself. In the meantime, she asked that she never run out of the magic potion that Ramses gave her. Ramses had given her many things, not the least of which was a son which she named for Ramses. This was a wish the Genie could grant and it was done. She tucked the bottle into a pouch she carried slung over her shoulder. The bottle should be safe there.
The Genie was anxious to grant the third wish so that he could be free and on his way again. Ro’Zha thought about the swirling forces of time and space that had brought her to Ramses in the first place and had taken him away again and she knew what she wanted more than anything.
“Genie,” she had said to him, “take me to my true love.”
As time and space began to fold around her, she believed she could feel Ramses arms around her once again. She must have fallen asleep, because when she awoke, she was lying on the magic carpet, her pouch beneath her head. She sat up and looked around. It was night. The structures around her were all very strange looking. They were geometric shapes, like the pyramids, except the pyramids were triangles. These were boxes with a peak on top and there was light coming from many of them. There were also enormous torches up and down the walks that gave off light. She looked at the structure she stood in front of. If this was a home, there must be many people living here. It was a pretty big size. It didn’t look like the ancient Egypt where she had last seen Ramses, but this is where the Genie had deposited her, so she rolled up her carpet, tucked it into the bag with the magic potion and slung the whole thing over her shoulder.
